Calvin Carl Helm, 82 of Rugby and formerly of Anamoose, died with his family by his side on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Trinity Hospital in Minot, North Dakota. He was born on April 25, 1942, in Harvey, North Dakota, to John and Ruth E. (Schielke) Helm. On April 11, 1966, he was united in marriage to Mardelle Marie Michels, in Beach, North Dakota. Calvin is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mardelle; children, Steven Helm, of Springfield, South Dakota, Carla Helm, of Minot and Roanne (Wade) Thingvold, of Willow City. Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 7, at Little Flower Catholic Church, in Rugby, with burial in the church cemetery.
