Lorraine Mundahl, age 85, of Rugby passed away peacefully on Sunday with family beside her, September 15th, in Bothell, WA. Lorraine was born to Martin and Magdalena (Bischoff) Kuntz in Rugby, ND on May 24th, 1939. She was raised on the family farm near Towner and attended school in Berwick.

Lorraine was united in marriage to Hygenus (Gene) Kunnanz in June of 1958. Together they raised five sons in Rugby. That marriage ended in 1979. In 1984, she married Darold Mundahl. Darold passed away in 2012. Lorraine is survived by her sister Beatrice (Augustin) Schmaltz, her five sons; Rodney (Lisa), Jeff (Kerry), Doug, Kevin, and Steve. She is also survived by Darold’s two sons, Doug (Shelly) and Steve. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 28, at Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home.
