Mallory F. Ulberg, 32, Foxholm, ND, died Sunday, August 18, 2024, in a Rochester, MN hospital following a lengthy illness.

Mallory Faith Ulberg was born on February 14, 1992, a daughter of Kerry and Char (Engelhard) Ulberg in Minot, ND. She was raised on the family farm near Foxholm, ND, where she attended Des Lacs-Burlington School, graduating in 2011. Mallory furthered her education by attending Dakota College at Bottineau, ND, where she studied Early Childhood Development.

Mallory was a very ambitious, hard-working individual. She held various positions in which she was able to use her natural caring abilities; she worked for ABC Daycare, Magic City Daycare, REM, the dietary department at Brentmoor, and at the Good Samaritan Society in Mohall, until ill health forced her resignation.

She was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Foxholm. Mallory enjoyed arts and crafts, reading, cooking, baking, and listening to all types of music. She loved sports of all kinds, especially her beloved Minnesota Vikings. She had a huge heart for animals. Her Corgi, Eve, was always by her side. The peace and quiet of the country is where she felt home.

Family was very important to Mallory; she thoroughly enjoyed FaceTiming with them weekly. Her sweet, soft and selfless nature will be remembered by all who knew her. She has touched the lives of many, including several medical professionals whom we especially owe our gratitude for the great care Mallory received.

She is survived by: Her parents Kerry and Char; Siblings: Amber (Ryan) Olson, Austin Ulberg; A niece Karlee Olson; Paternal grandfather Harlan Ulberg; Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Mallory was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Elmer and Audrey Engelhard, paternal grandmother Sharon Ulberg, uncle Eldon Strand, and cousins Matt Danielson and Lindsey Cunningham.

Visitation: Sunday, August 25, 2024, from 3-5, at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Vigil Prayer Service: Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 5 p.m., at Thompson Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot. Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, August 26, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Foxholm, ND. Burial: Monday, August 26, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Henry’s Catholic Cemetery, rural Foxholm, ND.
