Lake Metigoshe

Brian Todd Hennessy, what else could a person ask for? He was a partner for life to his wife, kids, and surrounding family. His passion for music, family, and work exceeded all negativity.

Brian was a long time resident of Lake Metigoshe, ND and Mesa, Arizona passed away Monday, July 8th, 2024 with his loving wife, kids, and family by his side.

Born on the celebration date of July 4th, 1953 at Trinity Hospital in Minot, North Dakota. Son of Robert and Frances Hennessy (Christensen), brother to Bruce, Craig, and David Hennessy. Loving husband and forever partner to Nancy Hennessy (Wade) and loyal father to three sons Jesse, Dillon, and Ian Hennessy. Grandfather to six amazing grandchildren.

Brian grew up with a passion for music, his instrument of choice was the trombone. His love for music guided him through life. Joining the Elks band and American Legion band right after high school, along with his three brothers. Eventually his passion took flight and Brian ran away to join the “circus” hitting the road working behind the scenes for massive productions such as Ice Follies Production, Holiday on Ice, and Sesame Street.

On this journey is where he met his life long love Nancy Wade. Together they took on a new adventure working alongside together, growing as best friends, and eventually starting a life conjoined together. Love at first sight. They then settled down in Mesa, AZ starting their family of three boys Jesse, Dillon, and Ian. While years passed Brian taught his boys how to be strong men. Teaching them the values he carried of pride, honor and being truthful. Encouraging them to continue their love and their passions.

As he would say and words we will carry and continue to honor.

“Whether the glass is half full or half empty…as long as it’s full of love, happiness, and stories you can share with this world, that’s all you can do. Share your happiness.”
