Levi Coty Roberts, 27, of Minot, passed away in his home in St. Petersburg, Florida, on November 26, 2019, after his long battle with addiction.
Levi was born on February 20, 1992, to William Roberts and Tricia Hiecke in Minot. He was the second bundle of joy, along with his eldest brother, Randall.
Levi graduated from the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch. He was always happy to help and loved working. He enjoyed the time spent with his family and friends.
His family and friends were a staple of Levi’s life; he loved them deeply and would give the shirt off his back to any family, friend, or significant other. Levi’s laugh was infectious and one-of-a-kind; it will be etched in everyone’s memories. He would do anything to bring humor into other people’s lives; he always knew how to brighten up someone’s day, whether it was a shoulder to lean on or cracking jokes. He enjoyed spending time with his younger siblings and looked forward to their time together.
Levi enjoyed drawing and art. He was an amazing and creative artist. He would incorporate his drawings as tattoos for himself, friends, or family. Another form of art he enjoyed was music. Levi felt music deeply and bonded with many friends over it; he always discussed new music with anyone who listened. There was never a time that music wasn’t being played when he was around; he believed music was “the window to the soul.”
Levi played video games as a pastime; he especially enjoyed playing video games with his younger brother, Alex. Levi and Alex were very close; you could always find them playing video games, riding bikes, or goofing around together.
Levi had and will continue to have a big impact on our lives with the overflowing personality, love, humor, and care he brought into them. He will be deeply missed.
Levi is survived by his parents, Tricia Hiecke and William Roberts; grandparents, Patricia F. Hiecke, Ronald “Ray” and Anneliese Roberts; brothers, Randall (Brittany) Roberts, Alexander J. McKibbens, and Jordan Roberts; sisters, Abigail McKibbens and Ashley Roberts; aunts, Jennifer (Mark) DiNobile, Susan (Michael) Turner, Terry Stern, Linda Victor, and Donna Denham; uncle Dan Roberts; and numerous extended family members
Levi was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alfred Hiecke.
A late celebration of life is being planned; a date, time, and place will be determined soon.
