Ralph Olson, 73, Minot, ND, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Trinity Hospital.

Ralph Gordon Olson was born May 1, 1951, the son of Arthur and Teresa “Eileen” (Mohr) Olson, in Minot. He was raised and educated in Minot.

Ralph’s only child was his beloved dog and companion, Radar, who was by his side 24/7 until his passing last year.

As a child Ralph spent every summer at Lake Metigoshe where he loved to hunt and fish. He worked at Atlas, farmed with Thompsons, at Real Builders, with the City of Minot, and he owned a small lawn care service. His favorite football team was any team playing against the Minnesota Vikings.

His loving family includes:

sister, Patricia (Ted) Budeau; lifelong friends and extended family, Richard Stahl, Sheila Meyer, Troy Clark, Brenda Simonson, and Stuart Solberg, all of Minot, and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Richard, Mary, and Robert.

Celebration of Life: Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at On the Rocks, Minot.
