Lee Kraft, 47, Bismarck, formerly of Minot, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at his home with his family by his side after a long battle with cancer. His fight has finished, and he can rest peacefully now with no more pain and suffering.

Lee was born on January 15, 1977, in Minot. He was raised and educated in Minot and moved to Bismarck in 2018. Lee loved to cook, read, play video games, and always made people laugh. He was also the caregiver for his grandmother, Shirley, as she entered the last stages of her life. Lee will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Lee is survived by his mother, Lisa Skolrud; siblings, Matthew Mehlhoff and Jen Kraft; uncle, Kevin (Lisa) Forsman; niece, several cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfred and Shirley Forsman; uncle, Barry (Bonnie) Forsman; and a cousin, Tony Forsman.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home in Minot. Friends are encouraged to begin gathering an hour prior to the start of the service.
