Judy Hiller, 82, Burlington, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024, at her home.

Judy was born on August 20, 1941, in Kief, ND, to Fred and Anna (Grosz) Hoffer. She was raised on the family farm outside of Kief. At the age of 13, the family moved to Minot. Judy was united in marriage to Delmar Hiller on August 11, 1961. Delmar passed away in 1998. She worked at a variety of jobs before retiring from Trinity hospital in Minot.

In December 2001, Judy met her significant other, Craig Schalesky. The couple enjoyed camping, playing pinochle, and dancing. Judy also enjoyed watching WWE wrestling, true story movies, gambling, and especially bargain hunting! She was a life member of the VFW Post 753 Auxiliary.

Judy is survived by her significant other of 23 years, Craig Schalesky; son, Duane (Renee) Hiller; daughter, Doreen Hawkins; grandchildren, Christina Fjeld, Jonathan (Brenda) Hawkins, Alicea Hiller, Miranda (Duncan) Pryor; great-grandchildren, Zachary Hawkins, Jacob Heintz, Twyla VanCauwenbergh, Kimberly Fjeld, Mikah Johnson, and Brooklynn Hawkins; brothers, Randy (Judy), Roger (Dorothy), Timothy (Lonnie) and Richard (Marcy) Hoffer; sisters, Diana Wittstruck, Linda Manning Midget, and Debbie (Gary) Gallaher; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Hiller; father, Fred Hoffer; mother, Anna Gerle; brother, Ronald Hoffer; and great-grandson, Skylar Hawkins.

Memorial Service: will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home in Minot. Friends are invited to begin gathering an hour prior to the start of the service. Burial: will follow at Rosehill Memorial Park in Minot.
