Helen (Fettig) Haman, 91 of Edgewood Assisted Living (Memory Care) in Minot, North Dakota and formerly of Towner, North Dakota passed away on April 30, 2024. Helen, the daughter of John and Lena (Wentz) Fettig, the fourth of six children, was born December 20,1932 on the family farm in Selz, North Dakota. On November 13, 1950 Helen was united in marriage to Joseph P. Haman at the Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby. Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Joseph P.; her children, David P (Dorothy) Haman, Towner, Juliana (Mathiew) Kurtz, Odessa, MO, Rita Briscoe, Sioux Falls, SD, Donna (Daniel M) Brossart, Rugby, Diane Haman, Lee Summit, MO, Sandra (Maurus) Brossart Rugby, Rebecca Haman (Fred Schell), Towner, Joseph J (Amelia) Haman, Rugby. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 3 at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Towner with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a rosary, vigil prayer service and sharing of memories beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the church in Towner.
