Alma Bickler, 93, of Rugby, died Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, North Dakota.

Alma Luella (Lord) Bickler was born October 23, 1930, to Alfred and Aldia (Gagnier) Lord in Bottineau, North Dakota.

Alma is survived by her son, Karl (Karen) Bickler; daughters, Jane (Jeff) Chounard and Dianne (Jim) Wolf; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Bickler; a daughter, Bonnie Somsen; her parents and sisters, Emma Cooper and Ann McNight.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 14 at Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a rosary and vigil prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with no reviewal at the church.
