Julie Lee Gayzur (Anderson), 78, Minot, ND, formerly of Mondovi, WI, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 17, 2024, in her home.

Julie was born to LaVerne and Arleen (Olson) Anderson on December 30, 1945. She is survived by her sister, Vicki (Anderson) and her husband Arthur Peuse of Mondovi, and her brother Steve Anderson and his significant other Jeanne McClellan also of Mondovi.

In 1971, Julie married Hans Gayzur. Together, they had three children: Eric Gayzur (50), Kara McCabe (47), and Dr. Nora Gayzur (44). Eric married Lisa Gayzur (Mueller). Together, they had Aubrey Gayzur (22) and Makai Mueller (15). Kara married Jonathan McCabe. Together, they had Bryan McCabe (23), Devon McCabe (20), and Danielle McCabe (18). Her family was her source of strength and happiness.

Julie was a member of Our Lady of Grace of Minot, St. John the Apostle Catholic Church of Minot, and finally St. Therese Church of the Little Flower in Minot. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America of Minot, board member of Serra Club International of Western North Dakota, and various committees at Little Flower Catholic Church and St. John the Apostle Catholic Church.

Julie’s life was deeply involved with family, faith, and friends. Her faith with Hans was equally shared within the family and a large group of her friends.

Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, April 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot.

Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot.

Vigil Prayer Service: Sunday at 7 p.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot.

Memorials: are preferred to Dakota Hope Clinic, Minot.
