Dennis Dwayne Muffenbier, the second of eight children born to Mike and Johanna (DeGroot) Muffenbier was born on September 29, 1938 in Rugby, North Dakota. He died peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at SMP Health – St. Aloisius in Harvey, North Dakota. On June 4, 1958, he was united in marriage to Myrna Moszer. He is survived by his wife, Myrna; children, Kathy, Peggy (Jim) and Mike (Michelle); grandchildren, Alec (Ari), Ali (Derek), Jace (Alison), Bailey (Jake) and Grant; daughter-in-law, Brenda; bonus daughter, Sue; brothers, Larry (Diane) and Rod; sister, Mary Lou (John) and sister-in-law, Allie. Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27 at Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a vigil prayer service, rosary and sharing beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby.
