Beverly (Berg) Hagen, 86, passed away peacefully on February 29, 2024, after a long journey with Alzheimer’s.

Beverly was born on her Berg grandparents’ farm table on September 23, 1937. She raised on Franz and Myrtle (Lura) Berg’s farm a mile away in Sioux Trail Township, ND, along with her two sisters (Lorraine and Myrna) and one brother (Ellis). She lived a very active, full life with her beloved husband of 61 years, Arvin Hagen. They had three children – Allan (Marla) Hagen, Cindy (Darrel) Lukas, and Brent (Michele) Hagen – who produced six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Bev lived in North Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois due to her husband’s 34-year career with Deere & Co.

Bev’s life was filled with family and friends, 26 summers at the lake, attending MANY functions with Arvin, bargain-hunting, churchgoing, creating, dancing, decorating, entertaining, gardening, guitar-playing, having fun, helping others, housekeeping, laughing, learning, modeling, moving, organizing & planning events, reading, sewing, singing, traveling, and most of all, working. She has looked forward to rejoining her husband, Arvin, who died in 2015 due to complications from dementia.

A celebration of Bev’s life will occur in Fargo, ND, on May 4th, with visitation at 4:30pm, service at 5pm, and buffet dinner at 6:30pm. For more details, contact Cindy at bevhagen37@gmail.com.
