Sharon Kay (Byre) Munyer, the daughter of Paul J. Byre and Nellie M. (Evans) Byre was born on August 12, 1944, in Rolla, ND.

She died at the age of 79 years, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, while in the care of the Pacifica Care Center Hospice in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. On March 3, 1968, she was united in marriage to Ted Munyer at the St. Paul Episcopal Church in Rugby.

They made their home on their farm, where she dedicated her life to helping Ted on the farm and raise their boys. She is survived by her three sons, Todd (Sandi) Munyer of Rugby, Troy (Candy) Munyer of Rugby and Trent (Kristina) Munyer of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Gail Braaten of Minot and sister-in-law, Phyllis Byre. She was preceded in death by her husband and son, Theodore Munyer II.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3rd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a time of sharing beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at First Lutheran Church in Rugby with burial in the Greek Orthodox Cemetery, Rugby.
