Derek Thomas Lampert, 43, Minot, ND passed away on March 5, 2024, at Trinity Hospital in Minot.

Derek was born in Minot on November 25, 1980. He attended the Minot Public Schools and ND State School of Science in Wahpeton. Derek was employed over the years at businesses in Fargo, Wahpeton, Minot, ND, and Rochester, MN.

Derek was an avid sports fan and outdoorsman. His favorite days were spent fishing on Lake Sakakawea and hunting birds with his beloved dog, Ping.

Derek is survived by his parents, Rick Lampert and DeeDee (Hedberg) Lampert of Minot; brother, Brady Lampert of Colorado; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Addison and Doris Hedberg, and Thomas and Ruth Lampert.

A private family graveside service is planned for April.
