Carol M. Christianson of Bottineau, North Dakota was born to James Ervin and Mary (Benjamin) Wagar on July 10, 1931 in Denbigh, North Dakota. She died at the age of 92 years, on Saturday evening, March 16, 2024 while in the care of the Good Samaritan Nursing Home of Bottineau, North Dakota.

On September 25, 1949, she was united in marriage to Teddy Christianson in Upham, North Dakota. They made their home and raised their family and milked cows from 1949 through 1972 on the farm. They relocated to Upham in 1972 where they both worked at the Upham School as custodians.

They were married for 68 years until Teddy passed away in 2018. She is survived by her three children, Grant Theodore (Patricia) of Justin, Texas Susan Ann McGee of Lake Metigoshe, North Dakota and Thomas Lee (Denise) of Upham, North Dakota. 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Gail Braaten of Minot and sisters-in-law, Ellen Miller, Mary Christianson and Bertha Shroyer; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Teddy, son-in-law Richard McGee, Brothers, Kenneth and Leo; stepbrother Lloyd; stepsisters, Hope and Lois and her parents. The celebration of life and burial will be on July 10, 2024 in Upham, North Dakota.
