Sandra Rae Dye

Troy, Miss.

Sandra Rae Dye, 55, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 in Troy, Missouri. She was born August 15, 1968 in Bismarck, North Dakota, and was the daughter of Wayne and Phyllis (Olsen) Paulson.

Before she was a year old, the family moved to Minot where her father’s work took them. Sandra attended Nedrose School and graduated from Surrey High School in 1986. After high school she went to Phoenix, Arizona for training in the airline industry. She then moved to Troy, Missouri where she began her career in Retail Market Research where she worked for the next 36 years.

Sandra liked working in her yard and was one of the most independent women you would meet. She had a love for her Dodge Challenger with its six speed manual transmission. Sandra also loved Rock N Roll music and not the Classic Country music of her father. She looked forward to going on vacations with her family and the memories made at garage hangouts.

Sandra is survived by her parents: Wayne Paulson and step-mom Sharol of Minot and Phyllis Paulson of Troy, Mo; one son and one daughter: Devin Paulson and fiance Tori White of Silex, Mo; Tori Broussard and husband Jacob of Moscow Mills, MO; one brother, Scott Paulson of Surrey, ND; and grandchildren: Brody and Brynleigh Paulson. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Sandra was a Life Member of Minot VFW Auxiliary 753.
