Mildred Brown, 90, Minot, ND, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Trinity Homes.

Mildred was born September 14, 1933, the daughter of Alfred and Emma Ongstad, in Rugby, North Dakota. She was raised and educated in Rugby.

Mildred married Orris Brown, Sr. they made their home in Minot where they raised their three children, Paulette, Marie and Orris, Jr. Mildred and Orris later divorced.

She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Her loving family includes: children, Marie (Virginia), Orris Jr. (Tammy), Minot; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; Son in law Jim and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Paulette; 12 siblings; and son-in-law, Dennis.

Visitation: Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home

Funeral: Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Thompson Larson, Minot.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.
