Lloyd Melvin Fiedler died January 31, 2024 in his home in Fargo, ND. Lloyd was born on June 7, 1927, at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND and was the son of Dan Fiedler and Bertha Heim Fiedler. Over his lifetime, he farmed and worked as a carpenter, residing in various places including Butte, ND, Minot, ND, Brunswick, MD, New Lisbon, WI, Tolna, ND and Fargo, ND with his daughter, Amy, son-in-law, Terry, and his grandchildren, Jeramey, Tristan, and Eric.
Lloyd’s favorite things to do were spend time with family and friends, play his accordion, play pinochle, checkers, and bingo, and watch baseball and westerns. All who had the pleasure of knowing him became like family to him, and there are too many to count who called him Grandpa that will miss his charm, wit, and especially his smile.

Sister, Marlene Knodel, Bismarck, ND, sisters-in-law, Christine Strilcov, Roanoke, AL, Shirley Dassenko, Minot, ND, brother-in-law, Dale Breding, Albuquerque, NM and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Bertha Fiedler, his wife, Evelyn, and 1st wife, Elizabeth, sister, Videlle Guyse, sisters-in-law, Florence Breding and Delphine Michalenko, brothers-in-law, Peter Dassenko, Lavern Michalenko, and Gordon Strilcov and fathers and mothers-in-law, Anna Jensen, Peter Dassenko, and Jack and Tillie Michalenko.
Visitation: Friday, February 9, 2024 from 11:00 am until the service time at Christ Lutheran Church, Minot
Funeral Service: Friday, February 9, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Christ Lutheran Church, Minot and will be livestreamed for the public.
