Judy Lynn Schell was born March 15, 1950, in Rugby, ND to William “Bill” and Agnes (Johnson) Swearson.

She passed away at the age of 73 on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Souris Valley Care Center in Velva, ND surrounded by loving family. She is survived by her children, Peary (LeeAnn) Schell, Westhope and Stacey (Randy) Schmitt, Towner; 9 grandchildren; great grandchildren; sisters, Jane Gunter, Metta (Frank) Schell, Mary (Jim) Thom, Amy (Brad) Hofmann, Dina (Kent) Ness; brothers, Carl (Georgie), Todd (Christianne), Tim (Karen) and David (Marcie) Swearson.

Mass of Chrisitan burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024 at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Towner with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with rosary, prayer service and sharing of memories beginning at 7:00 p.m. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Towner.
