Steven Allen Zearley, 69, Minot, ND, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024, at his home.

Steven was born August 3, 1954, the son of James and Georgia (Bramley) Zearley, in California. He was raised and educated in Minot, graduating from Bishop Ryan High School in 1974.

He enlisted in the United States Army in 1971. He proudly served his country during The Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged 1973.

Steve married Marietta in 1974 and had one son, James. They later divorced.

Steve married Jo Ann in 1994, and they made their home in Minot.

He worked as a truck driver for The Coca-Cola Company and then for Ferguson Plumbing Supply until his retirement at the age of 67.

He was a lifetime member of North Dakota Bow Hunters Association and enjoyed everything hunting and fishing.

His loving family includes: wife of 29 years, Jo Ann; children, James (Esther) Zearley; grandchildren, Annabelle and Arthur; mother, Georgia, and stepfather, Richard; stepchildren, Kevin (Veronica), Steven, Connie, Ricky, and Christie (Todd); sisters, Christine (David) Gambetta and Jannette Cullen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Steve was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents.

Liturgy of the Word Service: Friday, February 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot.

Interment: North Dakota Veteran’s Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
