Norman L. “Norm” Hoiland, 81, Minot, died Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family and hospice.
Norman was born October 15, 1942 in Great Falls, MT, the second child of Odin and Lorraine (Ofsthun) Hoiland. He was raised and educated in Minot and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy. Throughout the years, Norm operated an antique furniture store, worked as an auctioneer, was a local realtor with Signal Realty and employed with the Burlington Northern Railroad all locally.
His loving family includes, wife, Noreen; children, Jay (Andrea) and Renae (Mike) Odegaard; 3 grandchildren; siblings, Jerry (Nancy), Gloria (Walt) Gay and Richard (Ellen); several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside service: 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2024 at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.
Gathering of Family & Friends: Friday, January 19th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the lower level of The View, located at 2905 Elk Drive, Minot 58701. Fellowship and lunch will be provided during this time.
