Marilyn Y. Larson Bergiman born 23 Oct. 1934, died 3 Jan. 2024 Born to Orwald and Josephine A. (Endresen) Larson in Minot, ND When Marilyn was 3 months under 3 her father passed away. Josephine later married Milton Haugeberg. In 1937, Josephine (Josie) moved to keep house for Milton Haugeberg in Gasman twp. where Marilyn went to a one room school through grade eight then went to Minot High School graduating in 1952.
She went to work for the dime store in Minot and in 1954 married the love of her life Louis Elwin Bergiman. After he was discharged from the U.S. Army they worked in Minot for a year or so and decided to go to CA where many of Elwin’s family had moved to. She worked for a bank and he became an elevator Mechanic.
In 1963 a daughter Yvonne was born and in Oct. 1965 a son Tracy was born. They lived in LaPuente for over 60 years.
Surviving is a son Tracy and his wife Susan; grandchildren Devin and Katherine Bergiman and Gregory, Zackory, Jacob and Maghean Grayham; great-great-grandchildren, Sebastian and Charolette Martinez; a brother Orlin and his wife Ivadell Larson in Washburn, N.D. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Loius, a daughter Yvonne a half-sister Joan Minot, N.D. infant half-brother Gary and an infant half-sister Dorene.
