Carlon B. Anderson

Carlon Bernard Anderson passed away January 4, 2024 at Sanford Hospice House Fargo, ND.

Carlon was born on July 2, 1946 to Henry and Muriel Anderson in Bottineau, ND. He was raised in Antler and educated in a number of places – Sherman school Antler ND, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Fergus Falls MN and Dakota Lutheran class of 1964. He attended Minot State University and Dakota Business College of Fargo.

In 1970 he married Connie Christensen in Fargo. They made their home in Antler, ND on the family farm but later divorced in 1981.

In 1981 he started his career in the oilfield in Williston, ND. He married Janet Amabaugh in 1982. They were married 31 years. During their marriage they lived in a number of places. During his time in the oilfield he worked from Alaska to South America. He made lifelong friendships along the way.

He is survived by his children, Hank (Miki) Anderson, Redman, WA, Kelli (Scott) Engg, Surrey ND; grandchildren, Wyatt (Raquell) Engg Berthold, ND, Dalton Engg, Dalen En

gg, Minot; great-grandchild Harmony Marie; sisters Karen Jonhson and Cassia Dahl.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Ann.

A memorial is planned for July 2024.
