Bergljot Olson, 89, Minot, ND, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Trinity Homes.

Bergljot was born December 13, 1934, the daughter of Nils and Bergljot (Henrikson) Olson, in Minot. She was raised and educated in Minot graduating in 1953 from Minot High School.

She worked at Sears in the Town & Country Shopping Center, White Drug, and Kresge in Downtown Minot.

Bergljot was a caregiver for family members.

Her loving family includes: sister, Margaret (Melvin) Schmidt; special nieces, Caroline and Connie; special nephew, Warren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Henrik and Hjalmer (Audrey); sisters, Brynhild (Alven) Schmutzler, Laila (Wilbert) Schmidt, and Alma (Henry) Kohler.

Per Berda’s request, there will be no formal services.
