Tyler Robert Schindler, 22, Fessenden, formerly of Minot, died December 21, 2023 at his home after battling an illness.
Tyler was born December 5, 2001 in Minot. He was raised the majority of his life in Minot by his parents, Kristi Schindler and Billy Schindler. He primarily attended Minot schools and graduated from Fessenden-Bowdon High School in 2020. During his high school years, he was involved in FFA.
Throughout the years, Tyler had been employed at Simonson’s Car Wash, Bunker Bar & Grill and Farmer’s Union Oil in Fessenden. Most recently he had been a daycare provider in Fessenden with Mini Miracles.
Tyler especially enjoyed going camping with his grandparents, riding his bike and gaming with his younger brothers. He absolutely loved going to AZ with his grandparents and was hoping to travel to Japan someday.
Tyler was baptized at First Lutheran Church in Fessenden, and a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot.
His loving family includes, mother, Kristi Schindler and her fiancé, Nate Gange of Minot; father, Billy Schindler of Minot; siblings, Tegan and Tate Schindler of Minot, Kaycee Belzer of Minot and Kenadee Gange of Minot; maternal grandparents, Robert & Shirley Krueger of Fessenden; paternal grandparents Al & Sandy Hanson of Minot; great grandparents: Jon & Adeline Krapu of Harvey; aunt, Jill Stevens of Fessenden, uncles, Michael Krueger of Dickinson and Bobby Schindler of Minot; and cousins, Addison, Beauden and Vada Krueger, Seth Dinius, Slade and Sophie Stevens.
Tyler was preceded in death by his little cousin, Brody Hove; great grandparents, Erv & Thelma Engbrecht, Ardel Rask, James and Alrlowene Lochthowe; great uncle, David Lochthowe; and grandfather, Leonard Rath.
Funeral Service: Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11 a.m. in Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot. A livestream of the service can be viewed by going to Tyler’s obituary page on the funeral home website.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.
Visitation: Thursday, December 28th from 5-7 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
