Merrilly Zodrow, 67, Minot, ND, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023 at Trinity Hospital in Minot.

Merrilly Ruth Ammon was born January 18, 1956, the daughter of Jacob and Ruth (Dockter) Ammon, in Harvey, North Dakota. She was raised in rural Anamoose on the family farm. She was educated in Anamoose, graduating from high school in 1974. After graduation Merrilly moved to Minot where she began working in the dental industry. She started as a dental assistant and was eventually promoted to office manager while working at Dakota Square Dental.

After meeting through mutual friends, she married David Zodrow on August 16, 1980. They made their home in Minot. They were blessed with two children, Tim and Ashley. Merrilly enjoyed sewing, quilting, scrapbooking, baking, and tending to her flower garden. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.

Her loving family includes: husband of 43 years, Dave; children, Tim (Katreena) Zodrow and their children, Makenzie, Brinley, Garrett, and Camden, Ashley (Neil) DelaBarre and their children, Kaitlyn, Addison, and Carter; mother, Ruth Ammon; siblings, Avonell (Larry) Simonson, James (Carol) Ammon, Connie (Mike) Rudnick, Sherry (Steven) Kuske, Tom (Jennifer) Ammon; sisters-in-law, Lori Ammon, Barbara Zodrow, Debra Zodrow; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; Godparents, Rachel Simonson and David Dockter Merrilly was preceded in death by her father, Jacob Ammon; brother, Kenny Ammon, granddaughter, Kameryn Zodrow, in-laws, Dwain and Jean Zodrow, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial Service: Friday, December 8, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Christ Lutheran Church, Minot.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
