Barbara Hett

Barbara Joan Hett was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She entered the spiritual world on December 12th at age 73.

She was born to S. Louise and Clarence E. Stevenson on March 1, 1950, in Minot, ND. She was raised and educated in Minot, graduating from Minot High School in 1968. After graduation, she furthered her education obtaining bachelor’s degrees at Minot State and University of Dickinson State University.

After graduating from high school, Barb married her junior high school sweetheart, Ron Hett on April 25th, 1973. They were inseparable and best of friends, celebrating 51 years of marriage. Together, they had 2 children: Ryan and Colin.

Barbara held multiple jobs as a beautician, a secretary, an accountant, and a customer service rep. After retiring she and her husband opened, owned and operated a coffee house in Bottineau, ND called Roba’s.

Barb loved going to the lake, RVing, and sitting around the campfire with family and friends enjoying laughing, playing music and jamming. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, sewing, gardening, cooking meals for her family, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Her loving family includes: husband, Ronald Hett, Surprise AZ; son, Colin (Lacey) Hett, Goodyear AZ; grandchildren, Jay, Royce, and Lilah Hett; son, Ryan Hett, Point Reyes Station CA; grandchild, Woolsey Joanan Hett; sister, Andrea (Danny) Messmore, Minot ND; sister, Lynda (Terry) Sandvold, Minneapolis MN.

A funeral service will be held on her mother’s birthday at 1pm January 12, 2024, at the Paradise Memorial Gardens, Scottsdale, Arizona, where her brother and sister-in-law are interred.

A memorial service will be planned to follow in North Dakota and Happy Trails Resort in AZ.
