Jeanette Louise Nelson Herman, the 13th child of Olaf and Sena (Julson) Nelson was born on May 1, 1935 at the home of her parents in rural Denbigh, North Dakota. She died peacefully at the age of 88 years with her children by her side on Thursday, Nove. 23, 2023 at Trinity Hospital in Minot, North Dakota. She was united in marriage to Harvey Herman on July 17, 1952 at Norway Lutheran Church in rural Denbigh. She is survived by her daughters, Vicki (Terry) Kubat of Langdon, Penny (Larry Polayes) Herman-Polayes of Morgan Hill, CA and Kathy (Woody) Hall of Upham and her sons, Kevin (Tracey) Herman of Gillette, WY and Kipp Herman of Watsonville, CA. She was preceded in death by her children, Jacalyn (Gary) Gangnes and Lance (Jamie) Herman and her husband, Harvey in 1981. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Towner with burial in the Bantry Cemetery. Visitation will be today (Monday) from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Towner. A prayer service will be held today at 1:00 p.m. at the Norway Lutheran Church in rural Denbigh.
