Glen Peterson, 62, Minot, ND, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at his residence.

Glen Wayne Peterson was born on March 13, 1961 to Vida (Heizelman) and Myron C. Peterson in Wrangell, Alaska. He was raised and educated in Minot, North Dakota.

He worked for Farroh Roof Truss for 40 years.

Eight years ago Glen met Coleen Billing and gained a daughter, Kayla and grandchildren, Keegan and Jayden. In July of 2018, their newest grandson, Jaxton was born.

Glen enjoyed drawing in his free time, riding dirt bikes and all things hunting and fishing.

He was a great mentor to all the young men in his life. Sobriety was very important in his life. He was proudly sober for 16 years and was active in AA groups.

His loving family includes his sister, Brenda Peterson-Smith, Minot, and her sons, Jason (Kari) Peterson, South Haven, MN and Justin Peterson, Minot; sister, Jolene Johnson, Bismarck, ND and her children, Amber (Mathew) Richardson, Covington, MI, Katrina Johnson (James Miller) Bismarck, ND and Davin (Heather) Johnson, Nisula, MI; fiancee, Coleen Billing, Minot; step-daughter, Kayla (Jason) Volochenko; grandchildren, Keegan, Jayden and Jaxton, all of Granville, ND.

Celebration of Life: Monday, November 13, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, Minot.
