Floyd Wangen 88 of Harvey died on October 28, 2023 in a Fargo care center. The funeral service will be at the First Lutheran Church, 1520 Advent St, Harvey, ND at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2023. A visitation will be Wednesday, November 8 at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey ND, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Hillsdale Cemetery, rural Harvey, ND. Floyd was born near Hurdsfield on April 18, 1935 to Marvel and Inga (Berg) Wangen. He was raised on a farm in rural Harvey, ND. He married VaughnDeLeath Schmidt in 1959 and they made their home in Harvey, ND.

He is survived by five children: Audrey (Larry) Toso, Floyd Jr. Wangen, Vernon Wangen, Lonnie (Michele) Wangen, and Doreen (Daryl) Brandt; as well as his 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. The full obituary is available to view and share at www.hertzfuneralhomes.com
