Timothy O. Rogelstad, 60, Heimdal, North Dakota passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023 at his home. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 30, 2023 at First Lutheran Church, Fessenden, North Dakota. Pastor Shirley Teske will officiate and burial will be at East Vang Lutheran Cemetery, rural Fessenden, North Dakota. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Nelson Funeral Home, Fessenden, North Dakota.

Timothy Odean Rogelstad was born July 26, 1963 in Harvey, North Dakota to Joe and Dorthea (Solheim) Rogelstad. He attended school in Fessenden and graduated from NDSSS in 1983 with a degree in Applied Sciences. Tim worked various jobs until he moved back to farm with his dad.

Tim enjoyed spending time hunting with Ben and Caleb. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren. His favorite pastime was riding horse. Tim spent each morning drinking coffee and working on crossword puzzles in the newspaper before texting his kids word scrambles.

Tim is survived by his children, Alexandra and Kyle Hennix, and family Maklyn and Peyson of Kenmare, ND, Benjamin Rogelstad of Minot, ND, and Caleb and Samantha Rogelstad and family Blake and Eli of Carrington, brother Marc and Brenda Rogelstad and their family, Adam and family, Heather and family and Cassie and family, and step-sister, Cheryl and Joe Gross and family Chanda and Justin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Dorthea, and step-mother Alice “Bebe”

Rogelstad.
