Ron Klecker was born December 16, 1931, in Minot to John and Mary Klecker and passed away on October 8, 2021. He was followed in death of his wife, Arvilla “Billie” on September 10, 2023. She was born on December 15, 1938, to Albert and Johanna Lang in Harvey.

Ron and Arvilla were joined in marriage in Minot on June 19, 1965. They were blessed with two children: Veronica “Roni” and Jayme.

Ron worked for the railroad in Minot and Bismarck, was involved in local politics, was active in the NoDak Race Club, and coached soccer.

Arvilla obtained her degree from Minot State and taught elementary and art classes in Minot and Bismarck. She was a strong supporter of her husband and family activities.

Retirement brought the ability to travel across the US in their camper, and they eventually settled in Albertville, MN to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

Ron and Arvilla are survived by children, Veronica “Roni” (Mike) Kersch, Jayme (Michelle) Klecker; grandchildren Will, Tate, Abigail, and Adam.

Inurnment for Ron and Arvilla will be held Friday, October 13, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan. Full individual obituaries can be found online at www.thepetersonchapel.com.
