Richard Bradwisch

Dec. 13, 1960-Oct. 4, 2023

Arlington, Wash.

Richard Perrie Bradwisch of Arlington, Washington left unexpectedly to be with his Heavenly Father while at home with his wife on Oct. 4, 2023.

Rich “Cheech” was born in Minot, North Dakota to Wayne and Vivian Bradwisch on Dec. 13, 1960. He called his childhood “the best anyone could imagine”: love of family, growing organic food, hunting and fishing, playing baseball, Bible camps, and the small-town upbringing. After graduating Surrey High School in 1979, he worked for a time on the railroad before leaving to attend Trinity Bible College at the request of his father. There he met his love Rebecca, whom he married in June of 1981. They moved out west and started their family shortly after. He was a hard worker, whether it was construction, Vernell’s Fine Candy, or as a machinist at Precor for 28 years. Rich was known most for his deep love and pursuit of the Lord. He was generous, loving, a bit mischievous, humorous, Christ-centered, and always eager to share a good word of encouragement. His humble heart was like none other. Our treasured patriarch will be missed beyond measure, until we are united together again in heaven.

Rich is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rebecca, along with their children: Kristina (Alex) Emery of Everett, WA; James (Kari) Bradwisch of Everett, WA; Kaylinda (T.J.) McKibben of Stanwood, WA; Joseph (Nia) Bradwisch of Arlington, WA; Rosie (Charles) Richards of Monroe, WA. Also his five cherished grandchildren, with one on the way. He is survived by his brothers Ed (Annette), Kenton, and sister Dawn (Terry), along with many loved extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents (Wayne and Vivian), brother Donnie, and sister Susan.

Graveside service at Leland Cemetery in Kendrick, Idaho to be held in June 2024. An additional gathering to be held in ND at a later date.
