Patricia Green, 74, Minot, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023, at Sanford Health in Fargo.
Patricia Ann Putney was born May 9, 1949, fifth of ten children to George and Eleanor (Blevins) Putney, in Minot. She was raised and educated in Sawyer.
She married Walter Green on June 1, 1966. They made their home in Sawyer. They were blessed with four children, Dennis, Sherri, Brenda, and Daniel. Pat loved road trips around the U.S. with Wally and visiting various state parks. Wally passed away February 18, 2009.
Grandma Pat, as she was frequently called by her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, enjoyed playing cards & board games, fishing, camping, bingo and watching her grandkids partake in their activities. She especially enjoyed going out to NoDak Speedway to watch them race. She had a knack for fixing and repairing all sorts of things, including repairing and hemming many clothing items, quilting, and sewing.

She is survived by her children, Sherri Lewis, Daniel Green, and Brenda (Rod) Hartl, daughter-in-law, Kimberly; grandchildren, Brett, Shawn (Kylee Englert), Austin (Lexus), Jessica Mortenson (Bryan Hensel), Addilynn “Axl”, Kaden, Kayleigh (Brandon Anderson) Fontaine, Tanner Fontaine, Alex Fontaine, and Erin (Cameron) Holland; great-grandchildren, Christian, Kabryan, Alex, Maylie, Axel, Kayeden, Berkleigh, Brexsten, Nessa and Oliver; sisters, Carol (Marty) Schaelesky, Alice (Lawrence) Puchscherer, Helen (Gerard) Ole; brothers, Lloyd (Cathy) Putney; brother-in-law, Richard Green; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 43 years, Walter Green; son, Dennis Green; granddaughter, Lisa Azure; brothers, Gerald, Terry, Harold, and Dean Putney; sister, Hazel Wolf; and great-grandson, Adrian James Duncan.
Funeral: Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Southside Church of the Nazarene, Minot.
Interment: Willis Township Cemetery, Sawyer.
Visitation: Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials: In lieu of flower memorials are preferred.
