Mort Kent, 81, of West Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully October 4, 2023, at Sanford Hospital, Fargo.
Morton James Kent was born August 26, 1942, in Oconto, WI to Helen and James W Kent. He married Mary Jo Benjamin March 6, 1966 in Rapid City, SD. He worked for SS Kresges that later became Kmart for 43 loyal years.
Mort is survived by his wife, Mary Jo; sons, Mike (Terri) Fargo, Allen (Laurie) West Fargo; grandchildren, Brady, Cassidee, Dayton and Benny; his brothers, James E. Kent (Mary) Rapid City, SD and Bruce Butler (Delores) Lena, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents. There will be a Celebration of Life Visitation at Our Savior Lutheran Church 3705 11th St SW, Minot, ND on Sunday October 22, 2023 from 2-4 p.m.
