Johanna “Jane” Kuntz, 89, of Rugby entered into eternal life on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the Heart of America Care Center in Rugby, North Dakota. Jane was born on May 10, 1934 to Mathias and Maria (Mary Schell) Wentz in her grandmother’s house in Orrin, North Dakota. Jane met and married a wonderful young man, Anton Kuntz, on June 10, 1952.

Jane is survived by her 12 children, Richard, Patrick (Lisa), Julius, Ann (Anthony) Jorde, Susanna (Kenneth) Jorde, Dorothy (Alvin) Kuntz, Linda (Randy) Gimbel, Hiedi (Gary) Gutowski, Mark (Cindy), Donovan (Gail), Bradley (Misty) and James; 25 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren with one on the way due in January; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, Oct. 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with the rosary, vigil prayer service and sharing of memories beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby. Visitation will continue on Monday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with no reviewal at the church.
