Visitation will be Friday starting at 1:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau. Burial will be at the Notre Dame Catholic Cemetery near Willow City.

David Biberdorf, a son of Marvin and Alwyn (Foster) Biberdorf, was born on April 4, 1955 in Bottineau. He was raised near Overly and graduated from Willow City High School in 1973. He then graduated from Bismarck State College in 1975. On September 20, 1975, he married the love of his life, Veronica Heilman at the Notre Dame Catholic Church in Willow City. In 1976, after a year at NDSU in Fargo, he got called back to the farm. They lived and farmed near Overly until recently retiring. They spent many winters in Arizona and had just recently moved to Minot. Dave knew he wanted to marry Veronica when he was eight years old. He saw her on the school bus and said to himself, “I’m going to marry her someday.” Anyone who knew Dave and Ron knew they were rarely apart. They did everything together.

David was a member of the Notre Dame Catholic Church in Willow City where he served on the church council. Over the years, he served on the North Central Electric Board, Cecil Township Board, Overly Elevator Board, the Willow City Jaycees and on the Willow City Ambulance. David loved working on the farm and he said he knew it was left in good hands. He also loved going to all the grandkids sports activities and events. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and riding horses. He later traded in horses for an iron horse so he and Veronica could ride together. Riding Harley-Davidson with family became a favorite past time. Dave had a way with animals. From his horses and dogs to farm cats, they trusted him with his calm, gentle demeanor. David was definitely a jack of all trades. So important to him was his faith, family, friends and love of farming.

He is survived by his wife, Veronica; daughter, Mandy (Pete) Fiske of Minot; sons, Scott (Kelsey) Biberdorf of Willow City and Vonn (Jess) Biberdorf of Fargo; 7 grandchildren, Carson, Mason, Kiera, Audrey, Zoe, Dom and Marley; sisters, Lynda (Doug) Borgen of Strum, WI and Kathy (Myron) Parrill of Bottineau and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and father and mother-in-law, he was preceded in death by three brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law.

Arrangements were with Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau. Friends may sign the online register book at www.nerofuneralhome.net
