Caleb/Kayla Cook, 28, Minot, died Saturday, September 30, 2023, in their home.

Kayla was born July 7, 1995, to Rhonda (Wengel) Cook in Minot, North Dakota. She was raised and educated in Minot, attending Roosevelt Elementary, Erik Ramstad Middle School, and Central Campus. She earned her G.E.D. from the Minot Adult Learning Center in 2014.

Kayla was most recently employed at Taco Bell; her previous employment included Schatz Crossroads and other various restaurants and retail establishments in Minot.

Kayla enjoyed listening to many musical genres and played a variety of instruments including the guitar, mandolin, and bass. Additional hobbies included crafting, art, jewelry making, mechanics and reading.

Kayla is survived by her mother, Rhonda Cook (fiancée, Sherry Moore) and grandfather, Richard Wengel, all of Minot.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Jeanne Wengel.

Funeral Service: Monday, October 9, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, Minot.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.

Visitation: Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
