Nicole Hill-Codrington

Minot Nicole Marie Hill-Codrington, born August 26th, 1974, passed away on September 9, 2023, in Minot while battling Covid Pneumonia.
She was raised and educated in Minot, receiving her GED from Magic City Campus. In school, she was a member of 4H, BeeBee shooting club, and track. She dreamed of one day furthering her education as an accountant. During her younger years she liked running around, making friends, experiencing life and getting in trouble. She was fearless and never gave up. During her last years, Nicole was searching for peace. She found amazing friends to fill her days and spent most of her time working and enjoying life.
Nicole was a strong willed individual with strong opinions and an even stronger voice. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Nicole cared very deeply about their activities and accomplishments. There was never a day she was not thinking about her loved ones.
Nicole gave birth to her daughters Nya on September 10th, 2001, and Alycia on October 29, 2003. They were her pride and joy. She was so proud of their accomplishments and never forgot to message them everyday and took great joy in taking care of them. Nicole’s love for her daughters never rested.
Nicole enjoyed watching NCIS, caring for dogs and reading. She also enjoyed having nights out with friends and smoking weed. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Nicole is survived by her daughters, Nya Barns-Codrington and Alycia Codrington; parents, Alan and Cleo Hill; siblings, Melisa (Christopher) Ignos, Monica Hill Delie, and Michelle Hill; and other extended family
She was preceded in death by Treasa Zahn-Swierc and Judy Zahn-Haaland.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel in Minot.
