Murilyn Racine

Chandler, Ariz.

Murilyn Racine, of Sun Lakes AZ. and formerly of Minot, born May 16, 1929, the daughter of Ingwald and Alma Rosendahl entered into heaven August 29, 2023, with her loving family by her side. Murilyn was born and raised and attended school in Westhope ND. She was once married to Leonard Racine of Maxbass, ND. They lived and raised six children in Minot. Murilyn resided in Chandler, AZ for the last forty-four years. She enjoyed her summers in ND with family.

Murilyn was an active member Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Chandler AZ. She loved her church, her bible study group, bingo and the Scandinavian Club. One of the things she loved the most was having family and friends come to visit, she loved life and people. Playing her piano and music was one of her favorite pass times.

Murilyn is survived by her son: Mylon (Barbara), New Town; daughter Lanette Racine, Chandler. Seven grandchildren: Korena (Jason Bissett); Lance (Sheila); Brent (Shannon); Jared (Chelsea), Justin (Sierra), many great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Murilyn was preceded in death by: parents, Alma and Ingwald Rosendahl; sons: Lonnie, Jack, Gaylin, Kevin. Her sister Lorraine Moum (Merle); her brother Arlyn (Judy) Rosendahl.

Celebration of life is to be held November 18, 2 p.m., in Chandler at Holy Trinity Lutheran. A summer 2024 celebration of life will be scheduled later for ND.
