Geraldine died peacefully with her daughter by her side at the Baptist Health and Rehab in Bismarck, ND. Cremation will take place with her ashes to be placed with her beloved husband, Murray, in the Rose Garden at Velda Rose United Methodist Church in Mesa, AZ. She was born in Hillsboro, ND to Edna and Carl Nelson. She married Murray W. Johnson December 5, 1941, in Hillsboro, ND. They lived in West Fargo, Minot, Fargo, and enjoyed retirement in Mesa, AZ. While in Minot she was kitchen manager at Eric Ramstad Junior High School.

Survivors: son Robert (Linda) Ludington MI, daughter Sandra Dennis (Dan) Bismarck ND. Grandchildren: Angela Cooper (Adam), Alisa Devlaeminck (Kurt), Cole Dennis (Olivia). Great-grandchildren Garren, Connor, Owen, Sadie, Jack, Brynne and Cambria. Sister Marlys Grotte (Ernie) Mayville, ND.
