Dianna J. Bly, 65, Minot, ND, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at a Minot hospital.

Dianne J. Bly was born November 8, 1957, the daughter of Elroy “Buster” and Glaudia (Wade) Bly in Kenmare, ND. She was raised on the family farm near lignite and attended school in Lignite, ND where she graduated from Burke Central High School in 1976. She furthered her education by attending UND in Williston, graduating as an LPN in 1980.

Dianna worked as an LPN at Trinity Hospital for a time and returned to school, where she earned her RN degree at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND, graduating in 1991. She continued to work for Trinity Hospital, retiring in June of 2012, following over 31 years of dedicated service.

On June 21, 1996, Dianna was united in marriage to Eugene G. Davidson of Tolley, ND. They made their home in Minot. She loved to travel, go camping, fishing and spending time at Mouse River Park in Tolley, ND.

She is survived by her aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, and her parents, Elroy and Glaudia.

It was Dianna’s wish for a private family graveside service to be held.
