It is with great sadness I announce the passing of Todd Gary Westlie, 73 of Palm Desert, CA, died on Friday, July 7, 2023, at home hospice from a rare pancreatic cancer.

Todd was born on August 30, 1949, in Minot, the son of Gordon and Marilyn (Davis) Westlie. He was raised in Minot and graduated from Minot High School. Todd was a Vietnam Veteran with the U. S. Navy and had a bachelor’s degree in finance from San Diego State University.

Todd is remembered for his extraordinary sense of humor and wit. He had a great knowledge of and a passion for all things cars. Todd was an avid book reader and a great conversationalist. He loved driving, history, politics and animals.

Todd is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Rita J. Westlie, of Palm Desert, CA; his brother, Mark Westlie, of Minot; two children, Tara and Michael Westlie, of Montana; nieces, Amy and Sheela; and other extended family.

His father, mother and sister Wendy preceded him in death.

Todd was a good man who loved Jesus Christ. Todd earned his angel wings. He will be missed dearly but never forgotten.
