Minot
Pamela K. Vannett, 69, Minot, was welcomed home by her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 24th, 2023, at Eventide Heartland, Devils Lake with her loving husband by her side.
Pamela Gladback was born August 17, 1953, the daughter of Milo and Ethel Mae (Connelly) Gladback, in Fargo, North Dakota. She was raised and educated in Minot, graduating from Minot High School in 1971.
Pam married Ronald Vannett, the love of her life in Minot, ND on November 5, 1975. They made their home in Minot and were blessed with four children, Ann, Elizabeth, Sean, and Chad. Pam loved being a stay at home mom while her kids were young. During that time they spent many hours camping at Sakakawea. Pam loved being in the water at the lake or in her small, backyard pool. Wherever Pam was, her kids were always close by. Once her children started having their own families, her grandkids became a priority with MANY sleepovers full of ambiance, adventures, and crafts. She loved to just sit and crochet and crocheted many beautiful items in her free time. She loved being outside. Pam and Ron were always finding new gnomes, bird feeders, and wind chimes to decorate their yard. Pam will forever be remembered for her hugs, laugh, and sense of humor. You heard her laughing and knew it was going to be a good time.
Later in life when all her kids were in school Pam returned to work, she worked in accounts payable at Wholesale Supply and other odd temporary jobs until finding a home at Fargo Glass in 1999. She worked as a secretary for them until her retirement in 2017.
Pam was a former member of St. Leo’s Catholic Church.
Her loving family includes: husband of 47 years, Ron; children, Ann (Pete) Marquart, Devils Lake, Elizabeth (Josh) Wright, Ooltewah, TN, Sean (Tiffany) Vannett, Devils Lake, Chad (Melissa) Vannett, Minot; grandchildren, Petey, Jordan, Kesley, Conner, Olivia, Jace, Cole, and Milo;brother, Steven (Kathy) Gladback, Minot; sisters, Patricia Townley, Minot, Mary (Russ Perlichek) Kester, Burlington, Catherine (William) Donald, Minot; sister in-laws, Sharon Gladback, Janet Gladback, Cherie Gladback; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
