Louise Berry, 92, Minot, ND, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023, in her home with her family at her side.

Louise Helen Hennessy was born on the family farm June 11, 1931, a daughter of George and Helen (Bruels) Hennessy, near Lonetree, ND. She attended school in Berthold and graduated from Des Lacs High School. Following graduation she worked at American State Bank, now Bremer Bank.

Louise was united in marriage to Leslie “Jack” Berry on January 11, 1952. They made their home in Minot. They were blessed with eight children. Jack passed away September 19, 2021.

Louise was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, American Legion Auxiliary, and Eagle Auxiliary.

Her loving family includes: children, Tim (Grace) Berry, Miami, OK, Steve (Ivy) Berry, Bremerton, WA, Brent Berry, Minot, Cathie (Russ) Johnson, Minot, Connie Berry, Minot, Laurie Berry, Minot; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three step-grandsons; brothers, Francie (Jean) Hennessy, George (Kathy) Hennessy, Gary (Lynn) Hennessy; sister, Elaine Monico; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 69 years, Jack; son, Leslie Berry Jr.; daughter, Deann Berry; brother, Lyle Hennessy; two great-granddaughters; mother and father in-law; four sisters-in-law, and six brothers-in-law.

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, September 1, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot.

Interment: Friday at 1:30 pm at Des Lacs Cemetery, Des Lacs, ND.

Visitation: Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 5-7 at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Vigil Prayer Service: Thursday at 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.
