Peter Alan Thompson

Former North Dakota resident Peter A. Thompson, 63, passed away on July 11, 2023, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Olympia, Washington.

At his request, a small family service will be held. TBD

Mr. Thompson was born December 5, 1959, in Rugby, to Ardell and Lorraine Thompson. He graduated from Rugby High School in 1978 and from Valley City State University in 1982 with a teaching degree.

In January 1985 he married Liselotte W. Thompson, and they had one son, Brendon Thompson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ardell Thompson.

He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Thompson of Rugby; wife, Liselotte Thompson of Olympia WA; son, Brendon Thompson of Olympia, WA; sister, Cindy Ewert, Devils Lake; Brothers Scott (Annette) of Hope, Idaho and Todd Thompson of Fargo: a number of nieces and nephews and a specials bunch of great-nephews and a great niece.

Family members will be notified of service arrangements.
