Roy McFarlen, 75, Minot, died Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in a Minot hospital.

Roy LaVerne McFarlen was born on November 25, 1947, a son of Roy and Olive (Johnson) McFarlen in Minot. He was raised and educated in Minot, where he attended and graduated from Minot Public Schools.

Following his graduation, Roy began his working career at Cloverdale Foods, a career he enjoyed until retirement due to health reasons.

Roy enjoyed bowling, fishing, and putting together model cars.

He is survived by his brother Gary, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Keith McFarlen, Carolyn Mahoney, Karen McDonah, Kathy Schoenberg.

A memorial gathering will take place on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 9 am at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Chapel, Minot
