Kaleb Fjeld, 20, Minot, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at a Minot hospital.
Kaleb was born on June 27th, 2002 in Minot to Jennifer Block. In 2009, Kaleb was officially adopted by Jennifer’s husband, John Fjeld. He was raised and educated in Minot and attended Nedrose High School, where he played football and basketball. Kaleb graduated in 2020. He was once employed by Domino’s and was currently working as a groundskeeper at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds.
Kaleb had an obsession with cars from an early age. He loved working on his cars and driving fast. Kaleb also loved playing ProStreet.
Kaleb loved clothes and shoes and always wanted to look his best. He loved any and all things music and had a wide, eccentric range of taste. Kaleb also loved all animals, especially his dog Mia whom he loved to play fetch. He enjoyed making people laugh and spending time with his family and friends.
Kaleb is survived by his mother, Jennifer Fjeld, Minot; father, John (Misty) Fjeld; significant other, Janisha Morin; siblings, Kyler, Madeline, and Kimberly Fjeld, all of Minot; grandparents, Julie Marsh(Paul), Las Vegas, NV, Mark and Cindy Block, Deering, James and Margret Fjeld, Minot, and David and Nina Brossart, Lansford; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Pete Marsh, Warren Block, Floyd and Stella Herslip; James and Thelma (Franklin) Fjeld, and Marvin Martin.
Friends and family are encouraged to gather in Kaleb’s memory on Friday, June 30 from 4-7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home in Minot. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Souris Valley Animal Shelter or the Nedrose Public School Sports Boosters.
