Eunice D. Zeltinger, 91, Minot, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023, at a Minot Hospital.

Eunice Dorlene Blake was born February 11, 1932, the daughter of Lee Francis Sr., and Edith Laverne (Emmel) Blake, in Northgate. She was raised in Northgate until she was 12 years old when the family moved to Noonan and later to Kenmare, where she graduated from Kenmare High School in 1950.

Following her graduation, Eunice worked at the Kenmare Chevrolet Garage as a bookkeeper for two years.

On October 20, 1951, Eunice was united in marriage to Delbert Allyn Zeltinger at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Kenmare. The couple made their home in Kenmare where her greatest joy was raising their 3 daughters and 3 sons. During these years Eunice also worked, helping Delbert on the farm during harvest and whenever the need arose.

In 1980, Eunice and Delbert became snowbirds and enjoyed their winters in Mesa, AZ. During their years in Mesa, they also traveled to many other destinations, both foreign and in the U.S. They visited Italy, Vatican City, Ireland, England, and Central America.

In 1994, the couple purchased a new home in Minot where they enjoyed their summers. In 2019 the couple moved to The View in Minot, where they have lived for the past four years.

Eunice was an accomplished baker and seamstress. She was known for always knitting and crocheting, making many gifts for family and friends. She also loved gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, and Sodoku.

She was a member of St. Anges Catholic Church in Kenmare and Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Minot.

She is survived by her husband of 71.5 years, Delbert A. Zeltinger; sons, Lanny L. (Robin) Zeltinger, Jason D. (Rachel) Zeltinger; daughters, Nancy L. (Gary) Austin, Marcy M. Zeltinger, Joan K. Zeltinger; grandchildren; Joshua (Stephanie) Austin, Jacob Austin, Jared Austin, Nicholas (Michelle) Zeltinger, Christopher (Diana) Zeltinger, Matthew (Mary) Zeltinger, Michael (Amy) Zeltinger, Shelbie Zeltinger, Presley Zeltinger, Korbin Zeltinger, Addison Zeltinger; great-grandchildren Josie Austin, Hailey Austin, Colton Austin, Jessica Zeltinger, Victoria Zeltinger, Hudson Zeltinger, and Mya Zeltinger; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Edith Blake, son Patrick, sister, Leola Arms, brother, Lee Blake, Jr., and granddaughter, Lindsay Zeltinger.

Visitation: There will be no reviewal as cremation has taken place, however, friends may sign a guest register one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot. The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed and may be accessed by going to the link on Eunice’s web page at www.thompsonlarson.com
